Seagull Models Super Weekend Special ARF, 20cc SEA-413
Overview
The Super Weekend Special ARF 20cc is a large-scale R/C sport airplane designed for smooth sport flying and aerobatic performance. Its lightweight balsa construction, expansive wing area, and high aspect ratio provide a forgiving, floaty feel at low throttle while allowing more energetic manoeuvres when required.
Based on the original Weekend Special series designed by Isao Matsui of IM Products in Japan, the model draws on a design that was originally released in the early 1980s. Matsui was a multi-time Japanese F3A champion and participated in the Tournament of Champions in Las Vegas numerous times. The original Super Weekend Special was sold by Model Flight for a number of years.
The aircraft is professionally factory-covered in genuine heat-shrink film with a vibrant, high-visibility colour scheme. Plug-in wings assist with transport and field setup, while the removable cabin top provides access to the electronics and battery. The model also features airfoil-shaped tail surfaces, a painted fibreglass cowl, painted fibreglass wing fillets and wheel pants.
