Overview
The Kyosho MINI-Z AWD Readyset (MA-020 series) is a compact four-wheel drive RC drifting system designed for controlled performance in small spaces. With drift-specific tyres and the included 2.4GHz Syncro KT-531P transmitter, it delivers immediate drifting capability once batteries are installed, making it accessible for both beginners and experienced drivers.
Built on the MA-020 series chassis, the system features VCS (Variable Camber Suspension) on the front, which optimises camber changes in relation to suspension stroke for improved handling stability. A revised steering control program enhances responsiveness and precision, contributing to smoother and more predictable drift performance.
The chassis is also designed for tuning flexibility, including compatibility with an optional gyro unit (sold separately: MZW446). A dedicated mounting space and adjustment dial allow gyro sensitivity to be set directly on the chassis, enabling automatic steering correction based on body movement. This provides stability support for beginners while allowing advanced users to extract greater control and performance.
With full bearing specification using 14 bearings, the drivetrain is engineered for high efficiency and durability. The Readyset includes a factory-assembled scale body and a simplified 2.4GHz radio system that requires no frequency band management, offering a complete and ready-to-run drifting experience.
