Representing the famous Spanish ship of the line at the time of the Battle of Trafalgar, this limited edition kit has been completely redesigned to deliver exceptional fidelity and craftsmanship for advanced modellers.
Developed using historical plans and specialist research, the model faithfully reproduces the ship’s final configuration, including its artillery layout. The Nuestra Señora de la Santísima Trinidad was the largest warship of its time, originally carrying 120 guns and later expanded to 140. Known as “El Escorial de los Mares”, it was one of the few four-deck ships of the line ever built and served as a flagship of the Spanish Navy.
Despite its immense firepower, the ship was hindered by slow manoeuvrability. It met its fate at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, where, after sustaining heavy damage and significant casualties, it was captured by British forces. Attempts to tow the vessel to safety ultimately failed, and it sank off the coast south of Cádiz a few days later, marking a symbolic moment in naval history.
