Airfix 1/76 Sheriff Of Nottingham A01721V
Overview
The Sheriff of Nottingham & His Men 1:76 Scale Vintage Classics Figure Set brings the opposing forces of the Robin Hood legend to life in a detailed and nostalgic format. With 36 plastic components, this set depicts the Sheriff of Nottingham and his soldiers, making it an ideal addition to dioramas based on the famous tales of Sherwood Forest.
Part of the Vintage Classics range, this reissue revives a well-known Airfix figure set, appealing to both new modellers and long-time collectors. The 1:76 scale ensures compatibility with other model kits and figure sets, allowing builders to expand their scenes with authentic period detail. As a Skill Level 1 kit, it is suitable for ages 8 and above and provides an accessible introduction to figure modelling.
Inspired by English folklore, the set represents the authority figures who opposed Robin Hood and his outlaws. The Sheriff of Nottingham is traditionally portrayed as a loyal supporter of Prince John, enforcing heavy taxation and law across medieval England. These figures allow modellers to recreate classic scenes of conflict and storytelling within a historically inspired setting.
