Overview
The Academy USN F/A-18F “VFA-154 Black Knights” Super Hornet 1:72 Scale Plastic Model Kit recreates the two-seat carrier-capable multirole fighter used by the United States Navy. The F/A-18F Super Hornet is an advanced evolution of the Hornet family, designed for both air superiority and strike missions while operating from modern U.S. Navy aircraft carriers.
This edition includes marking options for two historically referenced aircraft. One represents the VFA-154 “Black Knights” CAG aircraft aboard USS Nimitz (CVN-68) in 2013, while the second represents a VFA-11 “Red Rippers” CAG aircraft aboard USS Enterprise (CVN-65) in 2012.
With Cartograf decals and included canopy masks, the kit is designed for a clean, accurate finish while offering detailed representation of modern naval aviation operations.
